While it’s famous for its iconic landmarks and bustling streets, it’s also home to a treasure trove of hidden gems waiting to be discovered.
During my recent visit, I set out to explore these lesser-known attractions that add depth and richness to the vibrant tapestry of this dynamic city.

 

흔히 사이공이라고 불리는 호치민시는 대조적인 도시입니다.
이곳은 상징적인 랜드마크와 번화한 거리로 유명하지만,
발견되기를 기다리는 숨겨진 보석이 가득한 보물창고이기도 합니다.
최근 방문 동안 저는 이 역동적인 도시의 생동감 넘치는 태피스트리에 깊이와 풍요로움을 더해주는
잘 알려지지 않은 명소를 탐험하기 시작했습니다.

 

1. The Jade Emperor Pagoda

Tucked away in the heart of the city, the Jade Emperor Pagoda is a serene oasis amidst the urban chaos.
This Taoist temple, built in 1909, is a masterpiece of Vietnamese architecture.
As you step inside, you’ll be greeted by the scent of incense and the sight of intricate wood carvings, colorful statues, and tranquil courtyards.
The pagoda is dedicated to Ngọc Hoàng, the Jade Emperor, and it’s a place where locals come to seek blessings and pay their respects.

 

1. 옥황사탑

도시 중심부에 자리잡은 옥황사탑은 도시의 혼란 속에 있는 고요한 오아시스입니다.
1909년에 건축된 이 도교 사원은 베트남 건축의 걸작입니다.
안으로 들어서면 향긋한 향과 정교한 나무 조각, 다채로운 조각상, 고요한 안뜰이 여러분을 맞이합니다.
이 탑은 옥황제 응옥호앙(Ngọc Hoàng)에게 헌정된 탑으로, 현지인들이 축복을 구하고 경의를 표하기 위해 찾아오는 곳입니다.

 

2. Giac Lam Pagoda

While many visitors flock to the well-known pagodas in Ho Chi Minh City, Giac Lam Pagoda remains a hidden gem.
Located in District 11, this ancient Buddhist temple dates back to 1744, making it one of the city’s oldest pagodas.
Its tranquil garden is adorned with intricate statues, and inside, you’ll find a collection of historical artifacts,
ancient scrolls, and a stunning seven-story stupa.
The pagoda’s peaceful atmosphere offers a stark contrast to the city’s hustle and bustle.

 

2. 지악람(Giac Lam) 파고다

많은 방문객이 호치민 시의 유명한 탑으로 모여드는 동안 Giac Lam 탑은 숨겨진 보석으로 남아 있습니다.
11군에 위치한 이 고대 불교 사원은 1744년에 지어졌으며 도시에서 가장 오래된 탑 중 하나입니다.
고요한 정원은 복잡한 조각상으로 장식되어 있으며, 내부에는 역사적 유물 컬렉션, 고대 두루마리,멋진 7층 사리탑이 있습니다.
탑의 평화로운 분위기는 도시의 분주함과 극명한 대조를 이룹니다.

 

3. The Antique Street of Le Cong Kieu

If you’re a fan of antiques and vintage items, Le Cong Kieu Street should be on your itinerary.

As you stroll along the cobblestone path, you’ll find a diverse collection of items,
from old Vietnamese pottery and lacquerware to vintage posters and wartime memorabilia.
It’s a place where history enthusiasts and collectors can easily lose track of time.

 

3.르 콩 키우(Le Cong Kieu)의 골동품 거리

골동품과 빈티지 아이템을 좋아한다면 Le Cong Kieu Street을 여행 일정에 포함해 보세요.
1군의 이 매력적이고 좁은 거리에는 수많은 골동품 상점, 갤러리, 골동품점이 즐비합니다.
조약돌 길을 따라 걷다 보면 베트남의 오래된 도자기와 칠기부터 빈티지 포스터와전쟁 기념품에 이르기까지 다양한 품목을 발견할 수 있습니다.
이곳은 역사 애호가와 수집가들이 시간 가는 줄 모르고 쉽게 지나갈 수 있는 곳입니다.

 

4. The Artinus 3D Art Museum

Artinus 3D Art Museum is a hidden gem for art lovers and photography enthusiasts.
Located in District 7, this interactive art museum features a wide array of 3D paintings and installations that allow visitors to become part of the artwork.
You can pose, interact, and take whimsical photos amidst the creative and imaginative exhibits.
It’s a place that fosters creativity and fun, making it a unique stop in the city.

4. 아르티누스 3D 미술관

Artinus 3D Art Museum은 예술 애호가와 사진 애호가를 위한 숨겨진 보석입니다.
7군에 위치한 이 인터랙티브 미술관은 방문객이 예술 작품의 일부가 될 수 있는다양한 3D 회화와 설치 작품을 선보입니다.
창의적이고 상상력이 풍부한 전시물 속에서 포즈를 취하고 상호 작용하며 기발한 사진을 찍을 수 있습니다.

5. Starlight Bridge (Cau Anh Sao)

Starlight Bridge, also known as the “Rainbow Bridge,” is a modern architectural marvel tucked away in District 7.

It’s a romantic and picturesque spot, perfect for a leisurely evening stroll.
The surrounding area is dotted with cafes and restaurants, making it an ideal place to relax and enjoy the ambiance.

 

5. 별빛 다리(Cau Anh Sao)

"레인보우 브릿지"라고도 알려진 스타라이트 브릿지는 7군에 자리 잡은 현대 건축의 경이로움입니다.
초승달 모양의 초승달 호수를 가로지르는 이 보행자용 다리는 밤하늘을 밝히는다채로운 LED 조명으로 장식되어 있습니다.
여유롭고 저녁 산책을 즐기기에 완벽한 낭만적이고 그림 같은 장소입니다.
주변 지역에는 카페와 레스토랑이 곳곳에 있어 휴식을 취하고 분위기를 즐기기에 이상적인 장소입니다.

 

6. The Flower Market of Ho Thi Ky

It’s a great place to experience the local culture and capture some stunning photographs.

 

6. 호티키 꽃시장

현지 생활과 다양한 색상을 엿보고 싶다면 호티키 꽃시장으로 가보세요.
10군에 위치한 이 번화한 시장은 이국적인 난초부터 향기로운 백합까지 생기 넘치는 꽃들로감각이 넘쳐납니다.

8. 책거리(즈엉삭)

1군 중심부에 자리잡은 북 스트리트는 눈에 잘 띄지 않는 문학의 안식처입니다.
서점과 카페, 문화행사가 즐비한 보행자 거리입니다.베트남 문학에 흠뻑 빠져들거나,
새로운 책을 읽거나,사람들을 구경하면서 커피를 즐길 수 있는 곳입니다.
이 거리에서는 도서 박람회와 낭독회가 자주 개최되어 독특한 문화 경험을 선사합니다.

 

9. The Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh

While not within the city itself, the Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh is a hidden gem worth the day trip.
Located about 90 kilometers from Ho Chi Minh City, this temple is the center of the Cao Dai religion,
a fascinating syncretic faith that blends elements of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, and Christianity.
The temple’s vibrant colors and intricate architecture make it a visually stunning and culturally significant site.

 

9. 떠이닌(Tay Ninh)의 카오다이 사원(Cao Dai Temple)

도시 자체는 아니지만 Tay Ninh의 Cao Dai Temple은 당일 여행으로 가치가 있는 숨겨진 보석입니다.
호치민 시에서 약 90km 떨어진 곳에 위치한 이 사원은 불교, 도교, 유교, 기독교의 요소를 혼합한매력적인 혼합 신앙인 까오다이교의 중심지입니다.
사원의 생동감 넘치는 색상과 복잡한 건축물은 시각적으로 놀랍고 문화적으로 중요한 장소입니다.

 

10. Binh Quoi Village
